Employment History

I’ve been employed full-time since 2009. First as a PHP developer, later turned into JavaScript and App Developer. Some of my employment history is listed below.

Ombori

At Ombori I’m employed as a Developer Advocate since June 2021, leading the way to setting up a developer environment and experience. When I started the main focus was getting a developer documentation page up and running, and slowly this priority is shifting from writing documentation to engaging with the community and guiding companies where needed. For this role, I’m also actively engaging with meetups and conferences for speaking.

Axway Appcelerator

I’ve worked for Axway Appcelerator from March 2018 until May 2021 as their Developer Evangelist for Titanium. For this position, I’ve helped out developers using Titanium. For this role, I’ve traveled Europe attending and speaking at several meetups and conferences. All of my speaking history for this role can also be found on the Speaking page.

Roamler

I worked at the startup Roamler from February 2015 until March 2018 as the Lead Titanium Developer building apps for iOS and Android using, you guessed it, Appcelerator Titanium. The Roamler app uses Technology that includes BackboneJS, UnderscoreJS, and Titanium Alloy.

Peerby

I worked at the Startup Peerby to rebuild the iOS and Android app using Appcelerator Titanium from August 2014 till February 2015 after which the project was complete.

Give.it

At Give.it I worked for over 2,5 years as a Frontend Developer building a one-page-app using JavaScript, with technologies including KnockoutJS and jQuery. A project was started to build a mobile app using Appcelerator Titanium but this project never finished due to the company stopping.

Tricode

I worked at Tricode for 2 years and I worked mostly with PHP 5.3 for a company called UPC (Liberty Global). A final project with Tricode was to build a mobile app for healthcare to display the ICD-10 terminology. This app was build using Appcelerator Titanium. This app is no longer live. At Tricode I was hired to Give.it which then took me in.
